Location-based services (LBS) help mobile network operators and mobile phone manufacturers increase revenues and customer loyalty. Location-based content can be provided by means of PTV MobilityPlatform. Mobile phone users have immediate access to location-aware services, such as traffic reports, a list of restaurants, city maps or YellowPage content. These and other data services can also be accessed via the Internet. The mobile phone locator, for example, can identify the physical location of a lost mobile phone.
Online Navigation / Mobile Phone Navigation
It has become commonplace to provide up-to-date maps, traffic information and detailed POI data for mobile phone navigation. PTV’s backend technology allows users to develop additional applications, such as web services and content linked to mobile devices so that users have access to local search options, current information and location-based advertising.
Dealer /Store Locator
Help your customers find your nearest store or dealership and map their route to it. Stores and dealerships can be displayed on the map, including all additional information that may be required. You can edit your data online at any time. The application can exactly be adapted to the look&feel of your website. If desired, it is also possible to customise the map layout.
